Gambling is a choice. Everyone knows that it’s all about luck and that the house always wins. It’s individual choice whether they want to risk their money or not. I think your grandpa just enjoys gambling as a pasttime and his money probably isn’t that big a deal. It’s like he was using it on the movies or amusement parks or collecting things, expect that his enjoyment is gambling. If that’s not the case than he can get help, just like alcoholics get help with their drinking.(and alcohol isn’t illegal) and I enjoy playing texas hold’em which isn’t against the house, but against other players, you know the risk when you enter to play, but if you’re good you also know the winning possibilities. The only problem, if there is one is that your grandpa needs to learn when to stop. It’s his money, let him do what he wants with it. Life is short.

The Casino didn’t take anyone’s money or “rob” anyone. If you won a lot of money on a slot machine, the casino wouldn’t say that you “robbed” them. The casino has games to play, the gambler wants to play them – that’s the deal.
